Probably in a library as a child, taking home a stack of
Dr. Seuss, or re-reading Where the Sidewalk Ends by
Shel Silverstein. Then limericks were read, and 30 years later, my son came home and needed help on a fifth-grade poetry project.
That's easy, to put a smile on the face of the young and old, and hopefully at the same time.
We will begin with an annual humorous anthology. But we hope to offer additional themed poetry and other humorous offerings. We would love for you to become a Sillizen. Keep an eye out for our "Silly Summons" and share it with fellow writers. We hope to also create showcase projects for illustrators as well.
